In our conversation we discovered that the Ainu and Hebrew alphabets are almost identical and that Ainu and Ancient Egyptian share many common words. As the Ainu originated in the Nile valley, this is not so surprising. However, I was surprised to learn that the Ainu came to North America via Finland, Greenland and Labrador!
